Take a good long look at this landscape. This house was barely visible from the road with all the plant life in the yard and the new homeowner wanted to change that. We started by working from the outside in, removing tree by tree and bush by bush, keeping specific ones behind designated by the customer. After removing the plants we brought in our Rock-a-Way attachment for our skid loader and removed roots further and rocks. Smoothing out the landscape, a layer or premium topsoil covered what is now a beautiful yard (pay attention to the how beautiful the grass came in when we returned to install a vinyl fence, displayed later on this page.) Also in the photos here, you'll see multiple mulch beds bordered with natural stone. From the garage around the side of the house we laid a flagstone walkway that connects to flat stone walkway connecting to the concrete sidewalk. |

In McVeytown, we brought in loads of topsoil to begin working on this landscape. This customer wanted to raise a bank around there patio. We formed the topsoil around two sides of the patio continuing around the side of the house. After get the shape the customer was looking for, we sheeted the entire mound with Weed-Barrier. Trees and many plants we placed in the ground and a coat of Hemlock Mulch was given to complete the mound. We also used topsoil to feather the yard up to the mound, creating a new smooth landscape. |

Here is a few mulch beds we completed on Electric Avenue. Starting at the drive way, we cut a new upper edge to the bed, removed weeds, planted new flowers, spread SnapShot, and finally coated with Hemlock Mulch. The same can be said about the other mulch beds on the property. |

This single mulch bed is another great example how a little bit of work can make an area really just appeal to the eye with just a little bit of time. After removing weeds, shoveling an edge, and removing other needed parts, the entire area was Weed-Barriered. Cutting out areas in the Weed-Barrier, holes were dug for the plants and fresh topsoil was added before planting. All was coated with Hemlock Mulch finishing the project. |

In Parcheytown, we removed an old deteriorating 6"x 6"wall to make way for a new slope and a new block wall by the steps. Once the small wall was removed from the drive way, we excavated the slope of the bank to give a gentle slope allow easy mowing. The wall between the house and steps was replaced with a new block wall preserving the previous bed of shrubs. |

In Reedsville, we were able to construct this block wall and widen the driveway a few more feet for the customer. Above the wall, the slope of the yard was altered to promote a more gentle slope that allowed the customer to mow their lawn much easier. Also, on top of the wall, (difficult to see with the fall leaves), is a small River Stone bed in which we installed Vista Low-Voltage Lights to provide light on the wall and driveway at night. |

This is our return to the first landscape at the beginning of this page. The grass was growing in beautifully and we returned to install a custom designed vinyl fence. We brought in a Dingo to aid us with digging, post holes were drilled in the ground. We squared each post making sure all were straight and would align correctly. On the outside of the vinyl fence mulch beds to added. |
